Have you started decorating for Christmas (if you're celebrating, of course!)? At home, we started to feel like "Jul" thanks to Georg Jensen's beautiful Christmas collectibles. I've always been curious to know Georg Jensen For more than 100 years, the iconic Danish brand has been pioneering Scandinavian design – a century of jewelery, interior decorations, silver and timeless accessories! And then I discovered the annual Christmas collection – created in collaboration with a handpicked designer. This year, designer Sanne Lund Traberg collaborated with Georg Jensen to create the Christmas Collection Items 2019 which are based on the classic symbols of love, solidarity and tradition: hearts, stars and trees, all plated with gold and palladium. I was so excited to have the opportunity to play with pieces from the collection at home, and I can say with certainty that they are even more beautiful in real life!
As you know, I never fear candles, especially at Christmas! And it's not the first time I'm putting real candles on my tree (do you remember this one ?!). I must say that it is still so nerve-wracking! The Danes, of course, have that. My Danish neighbor advised me (I thought it was important to seek advice!) To pay close attention to where you place them so that the flame is not near. a branch or other decoration, never leave the tree unattended when the candles are lit, and always keep a bucket of sand nearby.
I must say that there is nothing prettier than real candles – even if you only enjoy them in short bursts. the Set of candlesticks 2019 includes a star and heart version that is super pretty even when the candles are not lit!
As they are comfortable 2019 light tea heart candlesticks? They are like a warm and cozy hug! Did I mention they are also made from 18 Kt. Gold plated brass? The tea lights up!
We felled our tree at a sustainable Christmas tree farm in the area again this year, and we learned during the visit that it had a gold heart – This ornament is not pretty?
I've always liked the idea of using Christmas decorations as part of a gift wrap – and the lucky recipient can hang this pretty Star of the 2019 Christmas Ornament on their tree the next year! Assumptions what's in it?
Hard, but I think the Christmas bell decoration 2019 is my preferred. It is made from 18 Kt. Gold plated brass and engraved throughout the year. I think it would make such a nice gift, is not it?
Usually, we place our Christmas tree in this corner, but this year my English family is coming down (super excited). I figured that keeping the daybed / reading area could be a nice place for people to go out alone with a book. everything becomes a bit expensive (you know what it looks like!). I
True to the Scandinavian style, I kept the decoration very simple (especially since it is so close to the tree!), Using only one Christmas ball decoration 2019. Helen (who came and spent the day with me to help filming) shot this mini tree in her summer cottage in Blekinge (you may recognize the name of the place where we went navigate this summer). The key to these mini trees is to keep the roots intact for them to last all Christmas time.
I'm going to a baptism soon and I have an eye on the 2019 Christmas Collectible Gift Set as a gift. I hope it's something that the little girl will enjoy at Christmas for many years!
Have a nice day!
