Every cloud has a glimmer of hope – and that's certainly the case in Sweden at the present time. It's so gray that everyone has felt compelled to decorate their homes early for Christmas and I totally agree! In my mind nothing says Jul like amaryllis, ginger pimples, simple crowns, paper stars and candles – and you'll see them in the magical house of Anna Kubel. I had the pleasure of meeting Anna at an event earlier this year and I followed her from the beginning. Instagram since (if you do not follow it already, it's a must!). Based in Stockholm, Anna is a photographer and visual narrator as well as a mother of two little girls. Her house is full of vintage finds, warm earthy tones and very pleasant seasonal touches – many of which are handmade. It's time to offer yourself a coffee and put yourself at ease – his house is bursting with inspiring ideas!
In our house we usually do simple pepparkaka cookies with cookie cutters, but I love the idea of making snowflakes. I might just have to try this, and you?
I'm excited to see the stars / hanging flowers of Anna – made from Sandberg Screen Background – so beautiful! I've shared a simple DIY tutorial for these here last week (just in case you missed it!).
So adorable! I want to climb in the pictures and enjoy a pepparkaka Pastry session with the family (could bring my girls too!), All this looks so idyllic – unlike my crazy house!
Do you also feel inspired by the Jul touch in Anna's house?
Have a nice day!
